Shipping ChargesShipping charges are calculated based on the shipping weight of the item(s) purchased. The actual weight of the item may be lower than the shipping weight because shipping weight includes the dimensional weight of the item(s). Dimensional weight is used by all small package carriers (i.e. large light items like a plastic tote ship as if they weigh much more than they actually do). Organize-It primarily uses Fed Ex as our carrier but we also use US Postal Service for some shipments. We use the shipping weight to calculate shipping costs because we have found this to be the best method to attain fair and accurate shipping costs. We do not charge based on order value because it does not accurately reflect the actual shipping costs. We also do not artificially inflate our prices to account for shipping charge deficiencies. Your shipping costs can be determined after you have finished adding items to the cart by clicking on the Estimated Shipping Charges link directly under all your items in the shopping cart. This link will open an estimator window where you will enter your country and state. Note Organize-It ships direct to the following countries:
For the countries above (other than the US and its territories) we ship via DHL Express. For all other countries please see our International Shipping page. Where you can view the shipping costs for your order. You may also choose to complete the order information on the address page of the cart. You will see your shipping costs before you are asked to enter credit card information. If you provide inaccurate shipping information that must be corrected by FedEx to deliver your order, Fed Ex charges a rerouting fee of $15.00 which we will pass on to you, so please double check the information you provide. Special Order items cannot be cancelled or returned; this will be noted on the individual item page. |

Shipping MethodsWe will ship orders anywhere within the United States, US Territories, APO addresses and the countries listed above. We ship all other international orders through our shipping partner Bongo International. Please see the table below to see available shipping methods for your location.

| Organize-It reserves the right to change your ground carrier to the most economical carrier for your order and your location. If you would like your order shipped the same day with expedited shipping (2nd Day or Next Day Air), it must be placed before 2:00 pm Eastern Time. Expedited orders are not moved or delivered over weekends or holidays, so those days should not be counted for the expected delivery time. Expedited shipping to Hawaii and Alaska takes one additional day to deliver than the chosen shipping method indicates (i.e. 2nd Day Air takes 3 days, and Next Day Air - 2 days). | ||||
Less Than Truckload ShippingSome shipments are simply too big or too heavy to ship via a small parcel carrier like Fed Ex. In these cases we have to ship items using an LTL (less than truckload) carrier. Items requiring this type of delivery will be noted on the individual item page. These trucking companies require you to be home for delivery. They will call you to set a delivery appointment and will deliver the items to the curb near your home. We will use a carrier with a lift-gate to make delivery easier. If you would like the item delivered inside your home (first floor only) you may purchase inside delivery for $100.00. Complicated inside delivery or on any floor other than ground level will require additional charges which can be quoted before delivery. |

In Store Pick UpYou can elect In Store Pick Up to get free shipping on any in-stock item on our site if you live in Southeast Michigan. Our shopping cart will automatically show this shipping option for eligible products. Your order will be ready for pick up at our warehouse in Rochester Hills within 24 hours. For more information about where our store is located, please visit our Contact Us page. All In Store Pick-Ups must be made within three months or the items will be returned to stock and the order cancelled. |

Direct Ship Country OrdersInternational customers are responsible for any additional duties or taxes that may be assessed for their shipment. Organize-It uses primarily Asendia to ship orders to these countries and you should check with your local government as we will not be responsible for any fees after we ship your order. |

Drop ShipDrop ship means that your order, or part of your order, will be sent directly to you by the manufacturer. This is done to save shipping costs, and to help keep our prices low. You will be notified via email for any items being drop shipped to you. Drop shipped items usually add a week or two to the total shipping time and can not be cancelled once they are ordered. You may return non-special order drop ships by following our Return Policy. |

Estimated Ground Shipping Delivery TimeThe following delivery timetable map is an estimate only, and applies only to FedEx Ground Shipping. USPS and Fed Ex Smart Post shipping takes another day or two. By the beginning of December Organize-It will provide a countdown clock for ground holiday shipments to arrive by Christmas. Factors such as weather conditions and holidays should be considered when estimating Ground shipping time. As addressed above, orders placed before 2:00pm ET will likely ship the same day. Orders placed after 2:00pm ET will ship the following business day. Please consider this when placing your order. |
