WEBSITE REDESIGN ADDS MORE USER-FRIENDLY FEATURES

(ROCHESTER HILLS, MI, August 2, 2008) - In effort to provide its online shoppers with a seamless and hassle-free Internet shopping experience, Organize-It has redesigned its E-commerce site Organizeit.com. The redesign is aimed at creating a more user-driven shopping experience, and improving site usability. A new look and feel is also part of the redesign, and will help modernize the look of Organize-It's online store.'

Organize-It unveiled its updated web store on Wednesday, July 16th, 2008. 'We chose mid-summer for our redesign launch so that we can be ready for back-to-school season', said Chris Nylen, Organize-It's General Manager. 'We have also been adding hundreds of new products, including a lot of great office organizers, for the back-to-school season', he continued.

Nylen says the purpose of Organize-It's redesign is to keep abreast of current technology and provide site users with a host of new features. 'We did a lot of research into best-practices to decide just what customers are expecting from an online shopping experience', added Nylen. Organize-It has also recently added a Ratings and Reviews function to its website, which allows customers to share their opinions about any product on the website.

Customer-driven site functionality is at the forefront of Organize-It's redesign. Along with the addition of customer reviews, the improved web store allows customers to sort and refine within product categories. This function allows the customer to quickly find exactly what he or she is looking for. An improved on-site search functionality also makes finding products a breeze for Organize-It customers. Like the categories, customers can sort and refine by a whole host of variables like price, highest rated and most popular within the search results.

Also improving the online shopping experience for Organize-It customers is a complete redesign of the web store's navigation. The improved navigation features a more intuitive, industry-standard structure, and allows customers to easily browse the site. I.T. Manager Nick Panas says 'the new navigation is designed specifically for the users of our site. We studied how our customers interact with the site, and designed a navigation that better reflects the way they have been looking for products.'

With new functions also come new fashions; the site redesign also features a new look and feel. 'We think of it as a fresh coat of paint', says Panas, 'the new look will be more modern and clean looking.' Panas says that the site's new look also displays more product information at once by utilizing a larger browser width.

Customers will also find new additions in Organize-It's shopping cart. A new cross-sell function alerts customers if the item they have added to the cart features accessories or add-ons that are sold separately. Cross-sell is also used to showcase other products that complement the product added to the shopping cart.

The website redesign comes after two consecutive quarters of steady growth for the storage and organization retailer in 2008.

As an independent retailer, Organize-It opened their doors in 1997, specializing in the sale of storage and organization products of all shapes and sizes. In addition to operating a 9500 square foot retail location in Shelby Township, MI, with a custom closet and office furniture showroom, Organize-It has a popular web site Organizeit.com that features thousands of innovative products ranging from kitchen gadgets to intricate shelving systems for closets and garages.
